A dive into the history of Heraklion

The students of the 3rd Grade of Tylissos High School had the opportunity in November to travel back in time, thanks to the educational visit organized in collaboration with SEDA ZOI and the Museologist and Museum Educator Ms. Fani Kampani.

With history as their guide, the students explored the monuments of the city of Heraklion, such as the Historical Museum of Crete, the Koules fortress, the Church of Saint Titus, the Loggia, and the Morozini Fountain. Through the tour, they discovered the rich history of Crete, the diversity of cultures that shaped it, and the importance of our cultural heritage.

This experience provided a unique opportunity for students to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience, develop their critical thinking, and appreciate our historical and cultural heritage.
